Is there anybody out there...?

Hi everyone. Yeah, I know, you're probably surprised to see me here; after all, I haven't posted here in something approaching forever.

I came to a realization the other day: I have way, way, WAY too many online presences. And it's high time I started simplifying. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to turn my over 9000 online presences into something more reasonable, perhaps over 8000.

So I'm trying to decide what to do with this blog. I used to know quite a few people here on LJ, and I've kept this blog alive just in case any of them were still around. But I haven't heard a peep out of any LJ user (save for those damn spammers) since before the dinosaurs roamed the earth, thus it seems to me that perhaps people have decided to move on. And if that is the case, well, I might as well move on too. Probably set up my own Wordpress blog on my own server, and get rid of my LJ account (after first attempting to archive my few posts from here of course). One less place to maintain, one less bill to pay, etc.

So I return to the question that started this post:

Is there anybody out there...?
